KING’S KIDS UNIT
The King’s Kids Unit exists to holistically care for and develop Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) to honor God. Its core focus includes meeting the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and educational needs of children while equipping them for a life that glorifies God.
Core Values
- Spiritual: Focus on a personal relationship with Christ through devotions, discipleship, Bible studies, and church activities.
- Physical: Provision of balanced nutrition, safe housing, medical care, and clothing.
- Emotional: Trauma healing, play therapy, counseling, and fostering self-esteem.
- Social: Encouraging interaction through camps, outings, sports, and community service.
- Educational: Offering access to quality education, vocational training, career counseling, and life skills.
Action Teams
To implement its vision, King’s Kids has the following teams:
- Welfare Action Team: Focused on trauma care, counseling, healthcare, and reintegration.
- Education Action Team: Overseeing educational programs and resources.
- Awareness and Finance Team: Fundraising and creating awareness for self-sustaining initiatives.
- Operations/Maintenance Team: Managing facilities, maintenance, and building projects.
- Personnel and Training Team: Overseeing staff training and personnel needs.
